Carpentry project in Uganda... Our philosophy at SICM, which is a widely accepted and practiced principle by many organisations, is not simply to throw money at a situation but to encourage self-help. If you send money to feed a family for one month, after thirty days you need to send more. But if you give the family a start to enable them to support themselves, not only do you free them from the burden of dependency but you also give them dignity and self-worth.......(includes photograph).......click here for more
