We had double services at Tipton Family Church as well as our usual morning meeting we had the carol service on the evening. I took both of them, speaking on the Christmas story in Matthew 2 (am). We also had a Question Time - where is heaven? Both of these will appear shortly as YouTube videos. We had a couple of visitors, both on their second visit so that was great.

On the evening, our carol service was brilliant! We had lots of items from the youth and children and they were fantastic. We also had between 25-30 people in aren't regulars. Some are occasional visitors, others in for the very first time. But that was all very encouraging.

But on a personal level, the highlight for me was when Debby and I received a gift from the church that everyone had contributed towards. However, even beyond that, what really really blessed us were the very kind words that people said. It's nice to be wanted! I've been in ministry for 23 years and this is the first time a church has done this for us. If you appreciate your minister then why not do something similiar?
